Morning: After breakfast, meet your driver-guides in the hotel lobby. We’ll board 4x4 vehicles and begin our overland journey to Amboseli National Park. Located on the border of Tanzania and set against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli is a bird-watcher’s haven, home to over 400 bird species, including pelicans, flamingos, kingfishers, and ibis.

While the birdlife is spectacular, elephants are the true rulers of this park. Known to be among the largest in Kenya, Amboseli’s elephants are particularly drawn to the park’s swamps, where they share the cool waters with hippos, who often hide beneath the papyrus. As we drive, our Trip Experience Leader and driver-guides will point out the region's elusive wildlife and share insights into this vibrant ecosystem.

Afternoon: After lunch, take some time to relax and settle into your rooms. Later, meet your driver-guides at the hotel reception for your afternoon game drive.

Morning: After breakfast, meet your driver-guide at the hotel reception and board your safari vehicle. Drive south past the dramatic Shetani Lava Flow before entering Tsavo West National Park through the Chyulu Gate. Continue to Mzima Springs, where you’ll visit the unique underwater observatory to view crocodiles and a variety of fish. Enjoy game viewing as you exit the park, then take a short drive to the Taita Hills Wildlife Conservancy

Lunch: Arrive for lunch at Taita Hills Lodge; the base hotel for Salt Lick Lodge.

Afternoon: Continue deeper into Taita Hills Wildlife Conservancy, where a game drive around Salt Lick Safari Lodge offers an excellent opportunity to observe and photograph the sanctuary’s diverse wildlife. The waterholes below the lodge attract animals in close proximity, allowing remarkable sightings in their natural habitat. From the lobby and terrace bar, you can enjoy sweeping views and superb photographic moments, while an underground tunnel and bunker with ground-level windows provide an extraordinary, safe vantage point to watch animals as they drink.

Dinner: Served at the lodge.

Evening: Spend the evening at leisure, either relaxing in your room, or enjoying night game viewing while sipping a nightcap from the bar terrace.

Breakfast: Start the day with breakfast at the lodge.

Morning: After breakfast, meet your driver-guides in the hotel reception for and hour’s drive to Voi town SGR Railway Station. Board your first-class train coach for a 2-hour journey through Kenya’s renowned Tsavo East National Park. The park feature vast expanses of golden savannah and dusty plains teeming with diverse wildlife. The train’s elevated track offers a superior vantage point compared to the highway, enhancing the viewing experience. Additionally, the large windows on the train provide an expansive view of the hills, lakes, plains, and potentially some wildlife along the way. Upon arrival, approximately 14h00, at Miritini, Mombasa Express train terminus, you will be met by our representative and transferred where you’ll relax on the Indian Ocean’s beaches at either the lively Voyager Beach Resort (North Coast) or the tranquil Neptune Palm Beach Boutique Resort & Spa (Diani), both for 3 nights on all-inclusive basis.

• Destination: Nairobi,

Morning: After an early breakfast and check-out by 6:30 am, you will be transferred to the Mombasa Railway Terminus to board the first-class train to Nairobi, departing at 8:00 am. The six-hour journey takes you through two of Kenya’s iconic wildlife parks—Tsavo West and Tsavo East. You are expected to arrive in Nairobi at approximately 2:00 pm, where our representative will meet you and transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.

Please Note: There is the option of an afternoon train that departs Mombasa at 03:00 pm, and arrives in Nairobi 08:10 pm at Nairobi Terminus located just 10 minutes drive to Jomo Kenyatta international airport.
