Breakfast: Start the day with breakfast at the lodge.

Morning: After breakfast, your driver will transfer you to the airport for your scheduled flight to the Masai Mara. Enjoy breathtaking aerial views of the Great Rift Valley and Kenya’s dramatic landscapes during the short flight. Upon arrival, your driver-guide will meet you at the airstrip and transfer you to your camp or lodge, arriving in time for lunch.

Lunch: Enjoy a meal at our camp upon arrival.

Afternoon: Later in the afternoon, head out on your first game drive in the Masai Mara, renowned for its exceptional wildlife, especially predators like lions, leopards, and cheetahs. The reserve borders Tanzania and is the northern extension of the Serengeti ecosystem, forming a key wildlife corridor between the two countries.

After an exciting afternoon on the savannah, return to camp.

Dinner: Return to the camp for a delicious dinner.

Evening: Relax in the camp’s bar area with a nightcap, or retire to your room for a peaceful evening in preparation for tomorrow’s adventures.

Early Morning: If interested, you can join our optional Masai Mara Hot Air Balloon Ride tour. This experience includes a pre-dawn game drive to the balloon launch site, a one-hour flight high above the Masai Mara, and a celebratory breakfast with sparkling wine.

Breakfast: If not taking the optional tour, a packed breakfast will be provided on the way to this morning’s game-viewing drive.

Enjoy a full day of adventure experiencing the Wildebeest Migration.

Morning: After breakfast, set out for morning and afternoon game drives in the Masai Mara aboard Sand River Camp’s custom safari vehicles, guided by expert naturalists. The reserve is world-famous for its black-maned lions, abundant wildlife, and rare chance to spot the Big Five in a single drive. Cheetahs here are especially remarkable, often approaching vehicles for shade or climbing atop them for a better view.

Bird enthusiasts will be delighted with nearly 500 species recorded, including eagles, hawks, falcons, vultures, storks, bustards, and colorful sunbirds.

In the evening, visit a traditional Maasai village for an enriching cultural experience before returning to camp early evening.

After an early breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi Wilson airport. On arrival, you’ll be dropped off at your preferred hotel or directly at the airport, marking the end of your unforgettable safari.
