This is a tailor-made itinerary and your holiday starts off in marvelous Cape Town that brings together atmospheric neighborhoods, a glitzy waterfront, the wild Cape Point and some seriously good vineyards.
Fly direct flight to the Kruger region and enjoy invigorating morning game drives, heading back into the bush in the late afternoon before winding down learning the art of the perfect sundowner. From Kruger, there are direct flights to Victoria Falls then to your base lodge from which to tour the spectacular Falls and the broader region. You’ll drive there in the lodge vehicle and walk the Falls. The vehicle will carry towels when the water levels are high and cool drinks for you to enjoy after your strenuous walk around the Falls.

Day 1 – 2: Royal Malewane Private Game Lodge, Kruger National Park
On arrival in Johannesburg, you connect with your onward flight to Hoedspruit, the gateway to the Kruger National Park. You will be met and transferred to the luxurious Royal Malewane Private Game Lodge, where you spend the next two nights. Enjoy spectacular game drives, splash out in the lap pool, or why not book yourself a pampering treatment in the Royal Malewane Bush Spa?

Day 3: The Saxon Hotel, Johannesburg
After a short drive back to Hoedspruit, you return to Johannesburg for an overnight stay in world class surroundings at The Saxon Hotel, Villas & Spa, a landmark hotel with an extraordinary history.

Day 4 – 5 : Blue Train, Pretoria
Today you transfer to Pretoria and check in for your two-night rail journey aboard the renowned Blue Train to Cape Town, stopping en route to explore the old diamond-rush town of Kimberley. On board you are treated to luxurious accommodation and fine dining with a menu for every taste, washed down of course, with a range of award-winning South African wines.

Day 6 – 8 : Victoria Falls Hotel - LDBB
When you arrive in Cape Town, collect your hire car and make your way to the award-winning luxury boutique hotel, Kensington Place where you spend the next three nights. Home to just eight spacious suites this truly is a home away from home, with a dedicated concierge team on hand to make sure your visit to Cape Town is unique.

Day 9 – 10 : Birkenhead House, Hermanus
Continue to the fishing village of Hermanus where you spend the next two nights in sophisticated surroundings at Birkenhead House. Built atop cliffs overlooking the ocean, the views from this hotel are hard to beat, and whale watching can be done from the luxury of the pool deck if you really don’t want to venture out and get the sand on your feet whilst walking along the walkway between Hermanus and Birkenhead House. Return back to sumptuous accommodation and world class cuisine, paired with incredible wines and great company.

Day 11- 12: La Residence, Franschoek
Today you head for the gourmet and wine-producing village of Franschoek and spend two nights in one of South Africa’s finest properties - La Residence. Situated in the heart of a private estate, surrounded by vineyards and framed by a spectacular mountain backdrop, this hotel is opulent and grand, and the staff here so attentive and will look after your every need. Day 13: Departure
Return to Cape Town today, arriving in time to drop off your hire car and check in for your onward flight out.
