Giving back to the community

Giving back to the community you travel, not only will we help you discover some of the world’s greatest places, you will be giving something back through Inclusive Holidays.

Every single one of us needs to demonstrate how much we care for our community, care for each other and in the process, care for ourselves.

This is a cultural give-and-take of the best kind.

A community is made up of individuals. Every one has their part to play in building a caring community. Virtually everyone at some point in their lives will need to be cared for by that community. The community is us. If it’s denied the nourishment it needs for survival it will fail to flourish. A plant without water will die and so too will the spirit of our community

At Inclusive Holidays Africa we really enjoy the intangible benefit of giving. Giving back to the community gives us a pleasant feeling of connectedness and the satisfaction of at least trying to make the world a better place.

Our responsibilities to local community extend beyond the mere financial. We support various youngsters seeking to further education; provide local scholarships and a children home.  A significant proportion of our proceeds is dedicated towards sponsoring local events, Masai Mara Marathon, Run for the Bibleless, Nairobi Hospice, Nairobiheart run f and Stanchart Marathon.

Nairobi Hospice

Nairobi Hospice provides palliative, care for the terminally ill, when there is no hope of cure. It involves running an outpatient facility, visiting patients both in hospital and at home. They also run Daycare Centre where patients come once a week. This allows the families a day of relief and provides patients a chance to meet other afflicted with similar illness. Over 90% of the patients cannot afford the high cost of the required medication. The Hospice hence, depends on donations from well-wishers, to provide care for its patients. That is where INCLUSIVE HOLIDAYS AFRICA comes in with their donation by participating in their annual charity walk; a fundraising event held towards this objective – Putting life into peoples days, not days into peoples life.
