Kenya Odyssey Safari

On arrival, you will be met and taken to The Emakoko, situated on 15 acres of land bordering the National Park, on one side of the plot is the Mbagathi River – Nairobi National parks natural fence line and at the top of the plot is the Emakoko River, where the lodge gets its name. Entrance to it is through the park, which is an ideal way to escape the Nairobi traffic. The lodge is surrounded by the most beautiful trees, including the majestic Migumo (fig) trees which play an important part in Kenya’s traditions. A large variety of bird life can be seen around the lodge, from Green wood pigeons to our two resident eagle owls who keep a beady eye on the other residents. Transfer to Wilson Airport for a short flight to Loisaba. On arrival, you will be met and transferred to Ol Malo Lodge for a three-night stay. Ol Malo is nestled into a rugged escarpment looking out across the time-honored lands of Kenya’s Northern Frontier District.  These miles of dense thorn bush are favoured by the shy, elusive antelope from which the lodge takes its name, “the place of the Greater Kudu”.  An ancient land inhabited by wildlife and peoples of a time long ago, undisturbed and living by the rhythm of nature and as part of this untamed and beautiful landscape is Ol Malo. You will be taken to Loisaba for your flight to the Masai Mara. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Tangulia Mara Camp for a three-night stay. Tangulia Mara Camp is a traditional tented safari camp situated on private land on the western boundary of the Mara Reserve, allowing easy access to game drive around the Musiara Marsh, the short grass plains, and Rhino Ridge, in the reserve or across the Mara River bridge into the Mara Triangle west of the river. Both areas have rich biodiversity and offer prime wildlife and big cat viewing; and, during the migration, ready access to some of the main river-crossing places. You will fly back to Nairobi Wilson airport and on to the international airport for your onward international flight.
