Day 10 Full Day Safari Masai Mara
07h30 Breakfast served as early at the camp.
Today offers a golden opportunity for an immersive exploration of the Masai Mara. Our
adventure begins with the camp cook preparing a delectable picnic lunch, setting the stage for a
full day of discovery in this iconic destination often hailed as the 7th wonder of the world.
The Masai Mara stands tall as Kenya’s premier wildlife sanctuary, boasting an impressive roster
of over 450 recorded animal species, including migratory marvels. Its expansive plains play host
to migrating wildebeest and zebra, as well as a wealth of resident wildlife throughout the year.
Nestled within the embrace of the Rift Valley, the Mara's gentle and fertile climate nurtures a
rich diversity of wildlife within its vast 1672 square kilometer expanse, offering visitors an
unparalleled spectacle. Located 268 kilometers west of Nairobi, our primary focus here is on
encountering the magnificent game.
As we traverse these lands, we'll witness giant herds of elephants mingling with majestic lions,
formidable buffalo, graceful Thompson gazelle, sleek zebra, and elegant topi. If fortune favors
us, we may even catch a glimpse of the elusive black rhino. Along the banks of the Mara River,
playful hippos and sun-basking crocodiles add to the scene's allure.
One of the most awe-inspiring experiences awaits us as we witness the annual migration of a
million wildebeest, following the rhythm of the rains to the north. After a day filled with
exploration and wonder, we'll return to the camp for a sumptuous dinner and a restful overnight
